Dear Lybrateuser, - Symptoms in children & adults can be fever, headache especially behind eyeballs, muscle & joint pain, weakness, body rash, stomachache, nausea & vomiting, in severe cases there can be bleeding from internal organs leading to organ failure. - the individual should take rest, plenty of oral fluids, well balanced diet to boost immunity, tablet or syrup (in children) Paracetamol for fever & pain in the body, in severe cases person has to be admitted to hospital for expert care.

Hi, Severe breaking pain in bone and joints as if someone has been beaten by stick. Reddish or purpuric rashes on the body, fleeting/shifting joint pain associated with swelling may occur.
