Tested hiv provera dna pcr test on 24th day and its negative, and after 90 days tested once again hiv 1 and 2 antibody test and its negative. Now my major worries started, as am having sinus and asthmatic and also bronchitis problem since last 25 years. Am using asthma steroids and other antibiotics since last fews days say 2 months .asthma steroids are regularly am using. Do these above medications will alter or delay the hiv testing results. Hiv 1 and 2 antibody cmia method with out screening antigens is reliably and accurate conclusive after 90 days. How long antigens appear in body. Please respond to my doubts sir.

No. The HIV test most commonly used is a test that looks at blood counts of the antibody that the body makes to fight the virus. Addition of a steroid to your normal routine will not in any way change the presence of this antibody. So HIV tests will not be affected by hydrocortisone injections for almost everyone.
