Hi doctor, 5 months ago I had ear surgery tympanoplasty with mastoidemy. Till now, I can not hear from that ear. I have no ear pain, no discharge, nothing coming out from the ear. No sensorial hearing is coming. Please tell me from your experience, what's wrong with my ear. Or will it take more time to be fine. Do I need another surgery? Please tell me doctor I am stressed with this problem. Thanks.

The outcome of the surgery done depends on the disease for which it was done. Moreover, the technique used to do mastoidectomy will also decide the cause of hearing loss. You may need another surgery depending on the details as I told and need to discuss with your ENT surgeon who did the surgery for you.
