Hello Doc. I'm a 31 year old male suffering from piles for the last 8 years. There is neither pain nor blood while passing stools. There is a small mass that comes out while passing stools and goes back again after few minutes. I am following a diet of fibre rich food which includes carrot, cucumber, green leafy veggies, butter milk, etc. How many years do I have to follow this diet to get rid of swelling?

Dear Lybrate User, many thanks for asking. As you are not suffering from pain or bleeding, it may be polyp or papilla. It is better to consult any General Surgeon or Proctologist and get done Proctoscopy for correct diagnosis.
