Hi Doctor, I observed that my stool is coming in black colour. I did not eat any coloured food. Also observed that my body has over heat. Can you please suggest me on this?

Black color stools are due to presence of blood in them. If it was just one episode no need to worry, but if it happens again you'll have to get certain investigations done.

Dear lybrate-user, Black stools can mean some internal microscopic bleeding in your stomach or sometimes can be due to some medications. Even if it is some bleeding that is causing black stools the solution is often quite simple with single medication prescription for acidity/gastritis. I would need further details to help you on this, kindly schedule a session with me or see your family doctor.
