Dear doctor, In a pathology a person took my blood through syringe. Before taking blood, he first cleaned the area of skin with alcohol, then rubbed that area with finger and took blood. If his finger contains HIV infected blood (small amount) then it must be sticked to my skin. If he prick syringe on that area of my skin is there any possibility of HIV transmission?

You are impractically anxious of HIV and his hands will not contain active blood and they must be using gloves. Even otherwise the virus cannot survive outside and cannot infect a person with touching
