Hi Sir, My 2 years child while playing on road got scratched in knee, now I am scared that some rabid dog may have drooled saliva on the road and the child has fallen and scratched on the same place, does this have any possibility, I am scared about him, please help.

Rabies will not be spread by any saliva that has fallen on the ground as it will be dried up and lost its pathogenicity . One needs to be bitten by a rabid animal to get rabies
