Hello. I can understand your problem. Urticaria is of many types. You seem to have physical Urticaria. Reason is that your skin releases histamine on being scratched. It's the tendency of your skin. It's difficult to tell how many years it takes for it to go. Sometimes months, sometimes many years. If your condition is controlled by taking medicines like allegra or cetirizine, just continue those medicines. If it's not controlled you can consult a dermatologist coz further options need lot of caution.
