My baby is 20 days old. She has fever from 2 days and CRP is positive with 8 mg/l. What does it mean. Doctor told there is some infection. What kind of infection it will be? Is this serious or ok? Using medicines fepanil drops and macpod 50 drops. Temperature is 100 degrees 2 days back and now it's getting down if paracetamol drops were given for every 7 hours. Will she be ok within few days?

Hello lybrate-user. CRP is a non specific test and doesn't specify any infection. Second. Paracetamol is not the treatment for fever. It just reduces the temperature for few hours. Repeating too often is dangerous. My suggestion is to take homoeopathic treatment. You can consult me at Lybrate.
