Hello, Thanks for your query on Lybrate "As" per your clinical history is concerned please do a clinical examination by your Doctor[Gastro]and to confirm exact pathological reason do few investigations like CBC with differential, Capsule endoscopy, and MRI scan Regarding prescription medications please discuss with your treating Doctor about Metronidazole and ciprofloxacin for 15 days and add a multivitamin caps regularly with vitamin B complex. Add other medications after investigations only. Do follow lifestyle modifications like this- 1) Limit dairy products and use an enzyme product such as Lactaid . Try low-fat foods and try avoiding butter, margarine, cream sauces and fried foods. 2) Limit fiber, if it's a problem food such as fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains, may make your symptoms worse. Avoid other problem foods. Spicy foods, alcohol, and caffeine etc. 3) Eat small meals. You may find you feel better eating five or six small meals a day rather than two or three larger ones. 4) Drink plenty of liquids. Try to drink plenty of fluids daily. Water is the best. Alcohol and beverages that contain caffeine stimulate your intestines and can make diarrhea worse, while carbonated drinks frequently produce gas. 5) Try to avoid smoking if you have this bad habit. 6) Make a plan to Reduce Stress. When you're stressed, your normal digestive process changes. Your stomach empties more slowly and secretes more acid. Stress can also speed or slow the passage of intestinal contents. It may also cause changes in the intestinal tissue itself. Although it's not always possible to avoid stress, you can learn ways to help manage it. Some of these include: a) Exercise. Even mild exercise can help reduce stress, relieve depression and normalize bowel function. Talk to your doctor about an exercise plan that's right for you. B) Regular relaxation and breathing exercises. One way to cope with stress is to regularly relax and use techniques such as deep, slow breathing to calm down. You can take classes in yoga and meditation etc. Hope that helps and follow me after investigation reports. Â
