My recent blood test showed uric acid as 7.4. I am male 38 and I want to know if it's normal range of uric acid or higher. Is it a sign of any disease? What will be the reason for high uric acid?

This reading is mildly high. You can control it with low purine diet in which you have to restrict intake of tomato spinache nonveg milk cheez paneer pulses etc. Increased uric acid can precipitate urinary stones gout etc.
