Hello, I had unprotected intercourse on July 28th at 6 pm and took option 72 at 8 am on July 30 and my periods are due in a week but I feel like I'm ovulating now as I feel slight pain on the right side on my lower abdomen. Is there any chance of pregnancy now? And what are the side effects of the pill?

There is less chance of pregnancy. A very common side effect of taking i-pill is a significant alteration in periods ?they can either be early or be delayed. Most women will experience withdrawal bleeding at the scheduled or expected dates, while some may get menses within 5 days. If you get periods earlier then expected, you can be assured that pregnancy has not taken place, but in case of delay in periods, it is best to take a pregnancy test one week over the expected date.
