Hello sir/ma'am, I am 21 years old male. I had Protected sex (insertive penile-vaginal) with a prostitute. I didn't check whether the condom broke or not. Neither I know her hiv status. I am super worried that I might have contacted with HIV so I did a 4th generation Combo test (p24 antigen+ hiv 1&2 antibody) serum by CIMA after 6 weeks of exposure. The results were non-reactive (0.07). So my questions are: 1) Are 6 weeks enough for antigens and antibody to develop in my body? 2) Can they be detected by 4th generation test after 6 weeks 3) Shall I consider myself hiv negative based on this test? If not than what are my chances of getting hiv? 4).What are my chances of getting positive result after 3 months if im negative by 4th generation test after 6 weeks? I AM DYING BY WORRYING. PLEASE HELP ME. THANKING YOU IN ANTICIPATION!
