Hi. I am 35 years old. Before four months I had not my periods. So I consult doctor. She examined and said that I have functional cyst in my left ovary. She prescribed nostra 5 mg for 5 days. Then after ten days I got my periods. On 7th day I consult another doctor. He prescribed a course of sysron n 5 mg twice a day for 3 months. Every month I went for check up on the second day of my periods. The cyst was shrinking. Now after 3 months the cyst was resolved. But the doctor said to continue the medicine for one month more to prevent the cyst from coming back. Should I follow this?

No need. Such functional cysts can occur to anyone at anytime and they only need observation to confirm that it has resolved
