I had fever and cough 25 days back. I took antibiotics and got completely cured before 15 days. My normal body temperature was 96.6 at 5 am and 97.6 at 9 pm before the illness. But after the above illness my temperature remains at 97.2 at 5 am and 98.4 at 9 pm even fifteen days after complete cure. Won't my temperature come back to the 96.6 to 97.6 range? Why is it not coming back even after complete cure?

In general, a baby has a fever when their body temperature exceeds 100.4F, or 38C. A child has a fever when their temperature exceeds 99.5F, or 37.5C. An adult has a fever when their temperature exceeds 99 to 99.5F, or 37.2 to 37.5C. You need not keep measuring your temperature as an obsession if you are symptom free You have no fever at present
