I am a 23 year old girl. And I have a hanging labia minora .I know labiaplasty is for to reduce the size of labia majora and minora but will this surgery make labia majora close because my labia majora are quite apart from each other and labia minora are hanging out from between them. Or any other surgery for this.

The surgery of Labias majora and minora are done only for better cosmetic appearance and that is the intent of surgery .We can bring the L-Majora closer also. Hello. Definitely, as you suggested, the labiaplasty will help you in reducing the size of the labia minora. When this is decreased, the labia majora will come together. This is result we see in most of our cases. Few of the times, if the labia majora is atrophic, we do suggest to go for fat transfer to the labia majora to give it a more proper look. It again depends upon the status of the abnormality of the labii you are having. It would be better if you get yourself examined for the same. You can consult online with me for more details.
