In order to give your hair loss treatment the best chance of working as effectively as possible it needs time to be properly absorbed into the scalp. Dermatologist usually suggest leaving as long as possible between applying minoxidil and using any scalp care oils, this means allowing an hour between applying your minoxidil and then using any scalp or hair oil products. Ideally, if you can wait longer then so much the better. You may use any mild shampoo which you find suitable as per your hair type.
