Hi l am from Indore. In your case you may go for transvaginal ultrasound for better' visualisation of cardiac pulsations of embroy. Usualy cardiac pulsations are seen in 5to 6 weeks in TVS and 6 weeks in abdominal ultrasound. If cardiac pulsations are absent and gest. Age of your baby is 8 weeks then it is very less chance to come or observe foetal cardiac pulsations. So my suggestion is go for TVS .If cardiac pulsations is present then ok if absent then their is no benefit to wait.
