Hello, I am a 20 year old female. This is the third time I am suffering from vaginal candidiasis. The first two times it happened, I took zocon-t kit and applied candid B ointment. It gets cured but happens again. And I have noticed that it reoccurs after my periods are over. My doctor said to keep taking these medicines whenever it happens but I am afraid that if I take medications so frequently I will have side effects plus this is not a permanent solution! Please help me.

Candida infection is like cold which comes often. It is more common during pregnancy, after period, in diabetic patients, females on oral contarceptives. If both sexual partners are not treated together and get rid of infection at same time then recurs sooner. It needs treatment whenever it recurs
