My question to ENT Dr. If both ear loss hearing problem due to old age. Require one hearing aid or two aids. I am confused before going to Dr. For hearing test. Pl.reply.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, If you are having problem in both ears, you wear hearing aids in both ears. As, our ears are independent of each other and they have different roles in different conditions. Our brain is also used to in hearing from ears and it can get best information about sounds when heard from both ears. Please go ahead. Hearing aids are nowadays highly acceptable devices if fitted from a qualified and experienced audiologist. Thank you.
