Does start of menstruation increases more problems in chronic constipation patients due to changes in hormones as seen in my daughter currently? A good intake of fiber doesn't works anymore and she often runs into no stool for days when it used to be less quantity before. Laxatives then given loosens much to give diarrhea like feeling. Do not want to completely depend on laxatives ,can regular probiotic or digestive enzymes also help? She anyways has highly sensitive temperament to complex things more.
