Hi Doctor, I went through hymenoplasty surgery 20 days back. After surgery I asked doctor that will I bleed, he said bleeding is not compulsory. Few women's don't bleed due to cycling etc. He did not assure me that I'm going to bleed. But he said don't worry, you are virgin now' The main reason I went through this surgery to bleed on my wedding night. Can you please tell whether I bleed on my wedding night. I tried to open vagina lips to see the area of hymen but it's been 20 days I'm unable to open that area. And I tried kegel excerice today. Not completely just 2-3 times but felt like paining so I stopped. When kegel exercise can be done? Can you please help me in resolving this issue.

It is not possible for us to predict if you will bleed or not.. even completely or originally Virgin girls also don't bleed.

Kegel exercises are not necessary for Hymenoplasty patients. Fear is the reason why most teenagers or women go for Hymenoplasty. It is not a necessary procedure and it is not necessary to bleed on your first night. We do Hymenoplasty procedures. Cough increases the pressure lower down but will generally not harm the surgery part. It is difficult to see the results on your own. Ask the Dr. who operated to take a picture when he examines you. The lips or the labia need sto be parted well and you need enough light to the stitches. Hymenoplasty and Vaginal cosmetic Surgery is a frequently performed procedure.
