I am 21 years old male. During my college studies, My friends done lot of disturbance to me and I keep on thinking. If I tell to my parents, they are saying that you should adjust these things. I often get unwanted thoughts and feel that someone is being watched me and being controlled by someone. Then by saying to parents, we went to a psychiatrist. He said that I have a Schizophrenia, and prescribed some medicines. Then, whenever I went to hospital he prescribed medicines and put intramuscular injection. These things continued for 1 year. But still now I get some unwanted thoughts but not frequently than first. Is there anyway to get completely rid of unwanted thoughts.

unwanted repeated thought cause lot of discomfort. Please continue the medicine and do not change of cut down without doctors advice. For a long term recovery medicine and psychotherapy both are needed. during the psychotherapy sessions you will learn more about your symptoms and how to overcome them also many other behavioural strategies which help you take charge of your life. e.g.learning and practising Thought Stopping technique will help you overcome unwanted thoughts.
