I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in year 2000. I was on Mesacol and steroids and I was fine after. Also I followed Ayurveda medicine and it helped me recover, in year 2009?it flared up after my marriage and change of country and Again in 2013 After my son?s birth it flared up but was brought under control. Since then I don?t have any symptoms and indications. I have met people who are on continuous medication for years, but I have been fine through diet and lifestyle change. I am always worried what if it flares up again. Is it possible that it is reversed? I am afraid to do a colonoscopy as it was not a pleasant experience for me. Please advice.
