I have a perforated ear drum. It's just a small hole. It occurred almost 2 years ago and doctor told me to wait few months before going for a surgery as it might heal itself but it didn't.It doesn't pain or anything but I am forced to take too many precautions because of it. What should I do.

If it's not possible to stick to those precautions better you go for surgery, again its a surgery so modification will be there and after that also you have to stick to some precations till it heals and the success rate is not too high. So if you want go to good ent surgeon and do it. Dr. Anirvan biswas is very good in it (kolkata) as I know, once consult with him.
