My period was delayed, tested and UPT was negative. After that doctor did a scan and gave me meprate 10 mg one tablet each day for 7 days. After that, I had spotting and waited for 5 days after spotting. Then it started bleeding. My doctor suggested to come on 3rd day of bleeding and when checked, my UPT is positive. I am bleeding still. GOt my HCG report and it says 259. Doctor said to wait for 2 more days and get HCG done again to confirm if it is a healthy pregnancy. I have PCOD. Am confused now. Please suggest. If my pregnancy continues will it effect my baby? I am 34 years old.

Meprate 10 mg Tablet. Meprate 10 mg Tablet is a progestin that is it helps regulate menstrual cycles and ovulation in women. The drug works similar to the hormone progesterone. It is prescribed for treating irregular periods, abnormal bleeding in uterine and for amenorrhea.
