On 9th Aug I had dermoid cyst torsion due to which my right ovary and fallopian tube was removed. The left ovary was left intact but dermoid cyst was removed from that as well. Following this on 17th Aug I was given Deviry, 2 tablets for 5 days. It is 30th Aug today and still no sign of periods. My doctor says it will come but I am really worried. Is it normal to have delayed periods after a laparoscopic surgery? She also said that there is sufficient ovarian tissue.

Because of cyst there is a significant fluctuation of hormones in the body, after its removal, your body may take 1-3 months to completly be back to its normal ovarian fuction and hormon balance. Give your body some time to relax, its been through alot.
