I'm 19 weeks pregnant now. It's my 3rd child from starting. I'm suffering from severe rapid heart rate while lying on bed specially and headache also. Kind of migraine last time when I checked my bp, it's 140/90 but most of the time during my routine checkup my bp comes normal so my gynaec doesn't consider my problem serious and just says it's normal you don't need any medication for this but I know it is my tsh level is also low, my other gynaec prescribed me ciplar 10 mg but still some doc say its harmful for unborn child I'm so confused and stressed.

Whether one needs treatment for BP or not is decided by properly kept chart of BP readings not by one or two readings. If required during pregnancy your obstetrician will advise other drug and not Ciplar
