My mother aged 68 has normally FBS less than 110. But after food, her RBS goes normally between 300 to 350. She takes Glucored forte one in the morning and half in the evening and teneligliptin 20 mg one before lunch. By morning her sugar comes less than 110. How to control sugar level in day time after food.

Hello, thanks for the query. From the glucose levels mentioned it is clear that after food rise is quite significant. Ideally fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 160 1to 180 mg (considering her age) & HbA1c% < 7. (not mentioned). From the details it is clear that she has uncontrolled diabetes. It needs up gradation of current treatment, plus there is a need for closer look at her diet intake and daily physical exercise. There is no mention of her weight, height and extent of daily exercise. Thanks.
