My mother aged 86 having sugar & B.P, but under control. Her creatine is 2.8 & blood urea 79. Her urine C&S says klebsiella negative bacteria sensitive to ertapenem. As she is bed ridden & weak unable to undergo dialysis. What is the best treatment for her in the present circumstances.

Hello, Thanks for the query. High creatinine and blood urea are indicative of severe renal failure, which can only be corrected by dialysis. There is no option at all. You may have to shift her to a good hospital. Thanks.
