I am 46 years old male and having type 2 diabetics since last 8 years. Now consuming Glimaday forte2 and 1 on daily basis. 20 days back my fasting sugar was 150 and Pp was 202. But since last 1 month when I got erected my lower part of penis is feeling like some pain. It is occurred during erection time only. Kindly suggest.

Mr. lybrate-user Kumar, Thanks for the query. In persons with diabetes one of the common complications noticed is erectile dysfunction (ED). This happens when disease is there for some years, especially if the glucose levels are not well controlled. Even in patients with fairly well controlled glucose levels this does develop. First and foremost is to achieve a strict glucose control with fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg and HbA1c% < 6.8. Then if need be drugs like PDE-V inhibitors could be sued. Thanks.
