Hello, I have been diagnosed with pcos since 2010. My weight was 69 kg. Firstly my periods were irregular. My doctor put me on ocp for 3-6 months period every year. In 2015 I had laparoscopy for ovarian Cyst. And after operation I took ocp for 6 months.in this time I Did gym and dieting and lost 18 kg weight in one year. Bt when I took off ocp my periods haven't come.in 2 years only when take medicins I menstruate. My doctor always first give me progestin pills and after withdrawal period starts ocp. Bt this time when I took progestin pills my period haven't come in 15 days. What should I do now? Is it becoz of ocp or weight loss that my natural cycle stopped? I have hirsutism and amenorrhea.

Dear lybrate-user. Wieght loss is the medicine. And ocp have no effect after you stop taking them. I would ask you to visit your doctor and get investigated to find out a reason. Do not judge the thing you did correct.
