Hello, I have been diagnosed with chlamydia for the first time 6 months or so ago. Lately I have been noticing that I get a urethral irritation especially after ejaculation which could be from an aggressive masturbation or dehydration since I do not drink enough water (3 glasses of water daily). After researching the internet, I am afraid that I may have stricture symptoms, my urine comes out of my penis in a vertical and then continues to be a normal stream. After carefully looking at it side ways I have seen that its vertical. The first thing that came to mind is that its a split stream which splits in the beginning of the urine stream and then reconnects, is that possible? The irritation lasts for another 10 mins after and eventually subsides, again this only happens after masturbation/ejaculation, it very rarely happen when I normally urinate. Please advise,

Chlamydia affects people of all ages but is most common in young women. Many who have chlamydia don't develop symptoms, but they can still infect others through sexual contact. Symptoms may include genital pain and discharge from the vagina or penis. Antibiotic therapy for the affected patient and the sexual partners of patients is recommended. Screening for other common sexually transmitted infections should also be performed.
