A vaccinated puppy bit me yesterday. The cut is minor, no bleeding as such but there is redness and swelling around the cut. I was vaccinated for rabies as a child and for tetanus 5 years ago. Do I need to consult a doctor?

No in my opinion. Clean the area.

The present recommendation is that even if the dog is vaccinated and there was no blood from the bite mark it is ideal to take the vaccination as rabies is such a fatal disease . But if you are confident you can avoid it and observe the puppy for 10 days keeping it locked under your care
