My father have moderate to severe hearing loss. Which one should be a good hearing aid for him. Age 65 years Budget 60 thousand for both the hearing aids what's daily FA power is a good option.

Hello, I suggest you to focus on the benefit of the Hearing aid over budget. You might get a good Hearing aid in lesser amount which may suit your father or may be little expensive over your budget. So please look for the benefit form hearing aids. Hearing aids do not just amplify sounds but also maintains your hearing health. Point to be considered: - must do Free Field Audiometry test before and after hearing aid fittings so you can be sure that your father can hear all speech sounds correctly. This requires a two-room testing sound proof set-up but test is not expensive. - If the hearing aids covers hearing loss completely. - Hearing aids are your health devices so please see a Qualified Audiologist only. Do not allow quacks to play with your health. Look/Ask for the qualification. - You must take hearing aids for home trial before you purchase it.
