I am taking oral contraceptives prescribed by my doctor for pcos. I read about a medicine met formin and I wanted to know if it'll be helpful for me as I am having bilateral pcos and I am overweight and what could be the possible side effects? And would it be useful if I take oral contraceptives and metformin together? Would metformin have its normal effect that way!

Metformin has side effects also. I will recommend you to take ir avitrol which also combats the issue of overweight also.
