Hello Doctor. I had two exposures with a woman of unknown hiv status. Both the times I did not have any intercourse. Mostly Kissing. She performed fellatio (unprotected) on me for 2-3 minutes. After 16 days of the first exposure I had mild fever (98.8-99.3, mostly 99) and body ache. NO RASH. The body ache subsided in 2-3 days but the fever has been there for 12 days now. I asked her, she said she never experienced any fever or symptoms in the last 6 months. I am scared is it hiv? I have read that insertive fellatio carries negligible risk of hiv. Do I need to get tested?
