Hi sir, I have done health screen blood test for my wife and report is indicates the following:- HBA1c - 6.9% Average Blood Glucose after 9 and half hour fasting - 151 mg/do eosinophil - 11% Hemoglobin - 9.7 g/do Total RBC - 4.84 basophil Absolute count - 0.01 eosinophil absolute count - 0.63 Hematocrit PVC - 34.7% MCV - 37.7 fL MCH - 20 pq McHc - 28 gdl RDW-SD. - 47.1 fL RDW-CV - 18.4% 25 OH Vitamin D Total - 16.04 ng/ml Testosterone 9.33 ng/do Iron - 21.3 pg/dl Transferrin Saturation 5.04 % Bilirubin - 0.31 in control Sgot 20.5 and Sgpt 22.7 I n control Alkaline Phosphate - 135.4 u/I protein total 8.35 gm/dl Serum globin 4.38 gm/dl cholesterol test done which is in Control total cholesterol 160 T3 - 105 ng/dl T4 - 9.2 TSH - 0.89 I have major question for Average Blood Glucose after 9 and half hour fasting - 151 mg/do Is she diabetic or not or she can control over it? Is the LFT test is normal? What are the precaution to be taken care of? Kindly suggest the solution.

Hi! Yes, 151 is a diabetic range. Also HbA1c is 6.9 which suggests that the blood sugar control has been great over 3 months which suggests she's likely to be diabetic. Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. HbA1c% 6.9 and average glucose 151 mg means there is diabetes present. It needs to be treated with drugs, diet control and exercise plus weight control. Some liver enzymes are high, could be due to Fatty liver. There is anemia and low D3 vitamin. Thanks/. Â

Fasting blood sugar 151 is definitely abnormal. Get fasting, pp blood sugar and HbA1c test done. Vit. D is low needs supplements. Hemoglobin is low and require antianemic therapy. Please consult a Physician who will advise you after clinocal evaluation. Â
