Hi, My 3.5 months baby is diagnosed with 14.5 mm encysted hydrocele at right side. Is surgery the only available treatment for this? If yes what is the right age for surgery.

You be under observation under a care of Pediatric Surgeon. Hydrocele usually spontaneously resolve by 2 years of age. But if it increases in size and becomes painful then may require surgery earlier.
