Which test is better at detecting antral follicles: AFC ultrasound or pelvic ultrasound? My doctor did not do an AFC ultrasound because I am a virgin. She did a pelvic ultrasound and said she could see 1 follicle on right side and none at left side. Is this reliable? My other test results are as follow: AMH: 1.4 ng/mL E2: 39 pg/mL FSH: 6.34 mIU/ml LH: 3.61 mIU/ml What are the chances of me getting pregnant with my own eggs? I am 42 year old.

Sonography done through vaginal probe gives better information but many times only abdominal probe is sufficiant. To answer your question about your egg pregnancy it needs personally taking detailed medical history in form of question and answers, examination and new+old reports. So meet concerned doctor-Gynecologist or infertility specialist or IVF expert.
