I am 26 years old Male with 6 ft 1 cm in height and 80 kg weight. Jumped from a 9 ft tall gate and while landing hurt the heel of left leg. Felt a jerk and was not able to put weight on the heel for next 15 minutes. Got a x-ray done of heel bone and there are no signs of fractures. When I press my heel from the bottom with my thumb I do not feel pain, it is paining when I press area just above the heel and below the ankle joint. I am not able to stand on my left leg also. Is it just a bruising or something else is damaged. If it is just a bruising because of the jump how much time should it take for me to run again. Thank you.

If there is no bone injury it must be a sprain. Usually such a high velocity injury needs immobilisation for 3 weeks to heal well.
