She is suffering from osteoporosis, last month she fell down and had left ulna + radius fracture on her forearm ,for which she was operated with plates on both bones on 15/09/18 and got her stitches removed on 1/10/18. As she is allergic to nsaid drugs so only dolo 650 is advised for pain and if there is swelling to apply ice .she is advised for finger movement and limb movement But there is consistent swelling, inflammation and pain on her wrist ,thumb, first and second finger even though she has been operated on her forearm I wanted to know is this normal or something is wrong, How many days will she require to regain strength in her hand? Can she do her day to day activities with that hand as Dr. has advised her just not to pick any weight or put pressure on that hand?
