My dad is 79 years old and he has what was referred to as obstructive uropathy BPH R/O urethral stricture. The doctor he saw was in Nigeria back in 2015. Since then he has been in and out of hospital about seven times for minor urethral blockage surgeries. I want to know what the cost of treatment is going to be here in the United States and is there anything that could be done for him other than what we've tried in Nigeria. I live in North Carolina. Your advice is important and needed. Thank you.

For this disease regular urethral dilation or endoscopic surgery is done. If the patient is stable with all blood reports normal then a major surgery called urethroplasty can be planned after getting all the fitness.
