I had protected sexual intercourse after 1.5 years and since the day after I have been experiencing watery vaginal discharge and burning sensation in the vagina specially while urinating around 4 times a day. The burning has been stopped from past two days however the discharge persists. Is this normal? Does this requires a medical consultation?

The most common symptom is an abnormal vaginal discharge that varies depending upon the cause of infection. Bacterial vaginosis: thin, watery discharge, heavier than usual, grayish white or yellow, often with a strong fishy odor, mild burning or irritation of the vulva and vagina, often without redness or itching.
