Ciprofloxacin which is one salt in Cifran can do have some affect on cartilage and bones of fetus. That too is based on animal studies, human studies are silent on this. 5 days is as such shorter duration so do not worry. But there are safer alternatives available so better consult your gynae doctor before taking it.
