I am 26 years old and having hypertension usually 130/80 even after taking met xl h 25, recently I started doing meditation (anapana) I was amazed to see the result after meditation my blood pressure was 116/67,106/72, 120/75, 118/69 .this all reading I am taking after doing meditation and gym earlier as my docs suggested I was doing only gym ans still my old pressure after gym alone was 120/77 or 128/79 but after adding meditation their is too much change in blood pressure but my question is that why met xl h 25 didn't work properly to reduce blood pressure less than 120/80 but still 130 or 140 by 80 which is still high, is it the drug is giving only placebo effect. I went to psychiatrist who prescribed me paroxetine cr 12.5 after I told him I have running thought, angry nature, and always anxious and nervous to face my seniors, even during school days I used to get nervous and tensed during exams, viva and practical. During my biology practical I was so nervous and tensed that while dissecting a cockroach my hands was shaking and I was like sweating in lab. So finally knowing my nature I discussed my situation with one of my colleague who told me may be you have psychosomatic disorder. My question is that paroxetine and metal h25 both are of no use to me because even after taking paroxetine I still get nervous or panic or anxious in my situations as if I am always in fight and flight mode? What to do because this running thought is taking my energy and making me lethargic and tired such that their is too little energy left to do my job. How to be in a meditative state always where there is no thought in mind.
