Hi am 26 and last year I had lost my virginity. Although we used protection but for more surety I took an unwanted 72 .That time I faced a lot of irritation ,burning sensation and itching in my vagina so my friend suggested me to take fluconazole tablet so I took 3 doses of that and it worked on me. .But now after 4-5 months due to breakage of condom I again had to take a birth control pill and I again experienced same problem but this time I took 6 doses of same tablet but I'm still facing the same problem. I am experiencing irritation burning sensation during urination and itching in my vagina. And it is happening in every 2 days. Like for example sometimes after urination I am experiencing irritation and after few hours I have been fine again. So is it normal? Or do I have any side effect of birth control pill Or do I have to consult a doctor??(Also please note that I had taken 3 times birth control pill between december 2017 to september 2018. And when I took it second time I didn't face this type of problem. It happened only after first time and third time and it's happening till now). Please reply as soon as possible.

It is not side effect of that pills but it is because of vaginitis. Both of you need to take treatment. Kindly consult your gyneae and take proper treatment after examination and urine test to prevent future problems.
