I was just diagnosed with alcohol neuropathy (but it was written down as polyneuropathy). I have no problem going without alcohol so I am curious if it is still necessary for me to see a neurologist as directed by my doctor? My symptoms have faded and only lasted for a couple days (My hands, face and feet tingled, burned and went numb). This tends to happen any time I am hungover. I was pretty wild but have calmed down over the past couple of years. I?m not sure, since the cause is known, if this is still needed. Thanks!
