Hi doctor, I have a daughter of 2 years 1 month. She has been falling ill from past one year frequently. Symptoms are 1) Temperature would be between 99-100 for 3-4 days not crossing 100 2) Cough, sometime severe during night 3) Sometime cold or running nose. So, after couple days we would visit doctor. Doctor after examination would suggest 1) nebulization every time of levolin and budecort 2) To use crocin if it crosses 100+ 3) Antibiotic called augmentation if fever won't reduce. Every single time fever use to go beyond 100+ so we have given crocin and also antibiotic and also nebulization. So, my questions are 1) Actually what is the issue and why every single time almost same symptom, is there any under lying issue which needs to diagnosed 2 Is it ok for so frequent nebulization 3) Is it ok with so frequent antibiotic.
