Tested Negative at 7,8,9 & 10 weeks using 4th generation CMIA method. I know window is closed by 12 weeks. But is it possible to result change with in 13 to 14 days, I have read in many Aids Vancouver forums that no one turned positive after 6 weeks cmia test even in India. Is this true. Please reply awaiting fr your answer with full stress.

4th Generation test has highest window period of 6-8 weeks. But as per protocol, final test to be done after 90 days of exposure. You also have risk for other STDs. Pl do HBsAg and VDRL tests after 90 days of exposure.
